How the Duel Referral Program Works

Duel's referral system is built to be unusually generous. Instead of a fixed CPA or a token kickback, you earn a share of the real house edge generated by the players you bring in. For South African affiliates the appeal is clear: no banks in the middle, no payout delays, just crypto sent to your wallet that you can hold or convert to Rand on your own terms. How do referral payouts work?

You earn a percentage of the net house edge generated by the players who sign up through your link or code. When a referred player wagers on eligible games, the casino's edge on that activity is calculated, and a share of it is credited to you. There is no edge to share on the 100% RTP Originals, since the house keeps nothing there, but slots, live casino and sportsbook activity all generate a margin that gets split with you.

What share do affiliates actually get?

The early payouts were deliberately over-generous. The first six payouts returned 100% of the house edge, which is actually negative EV for Duel once provider fees are counted, and Duel absorbed that cost on purpose to bootstrap the program. Payouts seven and eight moved to 90%, and recent payouts have settled around 70% of the house edge. Leaderboard prizes paid to your referred players are deducted from referral income. Are there rules I should know?

Yes. Self-referral and referral abuse are not allowed and can void your commissions or terminate your affiliate access. Usernames and referral codes are unique when created, but Duel reserves the right to reclaim or reassign them.
